About Wild and Wicked Wingding

Join us for our annual Wild and Wicked Wingding Fly-In and Swap Meet!! Great food served, including our famous ice cream floats!! Electric, glow, gas, night flying, candy drop, raffle, 1000x120 ft grass runway, recently extended, everyone is welcome. AMA required to fly. The devastation from hurricane Helene to our neighbors to the west compelled our members to help! Some have flown supplies into Western NC and others drove trailers! Thank you gentlemen!
As a whole the club decided to donate all of the proceeds from our upcoming event to help with the efforts in Western N.C. We chose armyav.org as the beneficiary. Currently they are operating 2 medium lift Huey's in Hickory N.C. and promised to keep flying missions until the fuel ran out!
They are pretty much a bunch of volunteers keeping those helicopters operating as flying museums and when they were needed they answered
